I initially had a hard time getting service and was a little frustrated with the sign up process. Tonya took the time to reach out from her personal phone after suspecting that their calls were getting screened by scam call blockers. The sign up process was easy and I had such a great phone call / customer service experience that I chose to change my original one star review. Not only did I have a few laughs but she also expedited me getting trash bins since I had gone so long without them.Great customer service is always a bonus.

After having numerous problems for years with good service, bad service, missed service, back and forth, I was finally able to connect with Dawn McCollum in customer service to discuss my issues. (That information is documented just below). I'd like to update the quality of my service currently today. Dawn was able to connect me with a driver in my route by the name of Corey Bright. Like Dawn, Corey is the definition of customer service. My service is now consistent. Corey is friendly and efficient. (It may seem like a minor issue, but even having your trash lids closed after being emptied is a big deal when raining and Corey makes sure that they are closed and the cans are out of the path of any intrusion.) Currently I very pleased with my service and appreciate working with people who believe in customer service and enjoy their jobs. Thanks Dawn and CoreyI was having a very difficult time getting consistent service for my residential pickups. I was using the “Contact us” feature on the Capital Waste website and getting absolutely no response. I finally called and talked to a customer service rep by the name of Dawn McCollum. After telling me the best way to contact Capital Waste was to sign into your account first on the portal, she was incredibly understanding and assuring that she would get a ticket generated and get my trash pickup up that day. A few hours later it was gone. Hopefully I won’t have any more issues going forward but if I do I’m confident that contacting Dawn will again resolve the issue.

We had the best experience with CWS today, specifically Jermaine. He stopped and went out of his way to be so kind to my kids. He let them honk the horn and they were so excited.

Mr. Jermaine!!! He is the best guy around! This guy is one of those people that only comes around once in a lifetime and he is changing people’s lives with his passion for his job! I hope this guy is cherished by you guys and look well after him! He is changing lives!!!!!!

We forgot to put the trash by the rd last night and this morning in a rush to get my daughter to school I saw the trash truck. I tried to run and get it really fast as they pulled up but it was so heavy I told them to just go because I couldn’t get it. They stopped anyway and Jermaine jumped out and pulled it to the street for me. Besides the fact that he did it, he was happy to do it. He was so nice and happy it really made my day! Thank you so much and keep that uplifting spirit!

Jermaine Is a beautiful soul! He is positively impacting the community. He is one of a kind.

A big thank you to CWS employee, Corey Bright. Corey was out here, on his day off, at 5:45 on a Saturday as it started to rain to collect the yard debris in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. He was kind, polite, and took care of everything! Thank you, Corey!

I would like to give a big shout out to Cory Bright and Tyrang Scott for doing a great job picking up my trash. They are the best. They are very considerate, respectful and so kind.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, CWS crews were in our neighborhood on pickup day with wood chippers to dispose of limbs and debris and still managed to maintain regular trash/recycling service to remove all the food spoilage that had occurred from the lengthy power outages. Kudos to their team that serves Night Harbor subdivision in Chapin, SC!

Tonya was extremely helpful and very friendly. She did an awesome job!
